.... to everyone who attended and supported Stannington Carnival 2019. Your help in making Stannington Carnival 2019 a success has allowed us to support the following organisations / projects:
 
·  33rd Sheffield Boys Brigade and Girls Association: sports equipment, and help for children for whom even small costs are a real barrier
·  Action for Stannington: restoring the solar/wind powered light in Stannington Park.
·  Baby Time: a baby bouncer seat
·  Christ Church Stannington: a portable sound mixer desk
·  Friends of Stoneface Creative: help with costs of hosting 12 open weekends
·  Jack & Jill Pre-School: a new mud kitchen and equipment
·  Royal British Legion (Stannington) Branch: a trip to celebrate the end of WW2
·  Stannington Scouts: a gala tent
·  Stannington Bowling Club: new jacks and mats
·  Stannington Brass Band: new sheet music
·  Stannington Friendship Group: costs of hiring speakers
·  Stannington Infant School PFA: school uniforms and sports equipment
·  Stannington Library: new children’s books, including audio books
·  Stannington Methodist Church: help with refurbishing the church hall
·  Stannington Players: a new sound mixing desk
·  Stannington Tenants & Residents Association: contribution towards defibrillator machines
·  Stannington Training Band: new sheet music
·  Underbank Community Art Group: display kit
·  Underbank Schoolroom: contribution towards renovation of the gents toilet

Over the last 17 years, the Carnival has raised nearly £70,000 for local community groups, including nearly £5,000 awarded to beneficiaries in 2019.
